Kodiak Seiners Association

The Kodiak Seiners Association (KSA) was established in 2017 to provide a unified voice for all Kodiak Management Area Salmon Seine fishermen.

KSA will facilitate collaboration and the dissemination of knowledge among fishermen and act as an advocate for all Kodiak area seine fishermen. We will work cooperatively with other Kodiak salmon stakeholders when appropriate to ensure the traditional and historical value of the Kodiak salmon fishery is fully realized and protected against regulatory, political, and economic threats. Our primary advocacy tool will be direct engagement with the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, the Alaska Board of Fisheries, the Alaska Legislature, and other regulatory bodies as necessary.
