The Kodiak Seiners Association (KSA) is dedicated to the promotion of business and related activities in the marine trades industry within the Kodiak and Kachemak Bay areas. KSA recognizes that well trained tradesmen are important to the success of the industry and is offering two grants of $1000.00 each which may be used for expenses related to further vocational education and skills training relative to the marine trades industry. Applications are due May 1, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY:
- High School Student
- Applicant to be enrolled or admitted to an accredited community college or vocational institution pursuing a marine trades related occupation with intent to return to Alaska for career.
- Applicants must reside in the Kodiak Island or Greater Kachemak Bay area.
